Entryfield
The Entryfield framework has made some progress, and it will be opensourced under the MIT license.
When I say to parents, friends and relatives « Hey, I am building a PHP framework » the reaction is, globally « What ? »
So, what is a framework… When you build Web sites you want to manage data, so you need a database system, like MySQL, which has a language, SQL. As you certainly know, a web site is displayed using the HTML language, and its style is defined with the CSS language, and it is animated with the Javascript language. To coordinate all this you use a server language like PHP. This may seem complicated but if you use WordPress for instance, you rely on all this.
A framework is a toolbox and a set of methods to help you build the code, and to make it efficient and easy to maintain.

Editorial line
Last year I wrote an article on this blog about my editorial line. After that, other events occurred, making the time disappear. An editorial line is not so useful if you don’t write, after all.

Qu’est-ce qu’un framework ? Le terme francophone est « cadriciel » – nous voilà bien avancés.Quand vous construisez des sites Web vous voulez gérer des données, donc vous avez besoin d’un système de bases de données comme MySQL, qui parle le langage SQL. Vous savez certainement qu’un site web est affiché au moyen du langage HTML, et que son style est défini au moyen du langage CSS, et qu’il est animé au moyen du langage Javascript. Pour coordonner l’ensemble vous utilisez un langage serveur comme PHP. Cela peut sembler compliqué mais si vous utilisez WordPress par exemple, vous vous appuyez sur tout ceci.
Un framework c’est une boîte à outils et des méthodes pour vous aider à construire tout le code, pour le rendre efficace et facile à maintenir.

La ligne éditoriale
L’an dernier j’écrivais sur ce blog un article intitulé « la ligne éditoriale ». Ensuite différents événements sont arrivés, et le temps a littéralement disparu. Une ligne éditoriale n’est vraiment utile que si l’on écrit, après tout…
